She lures her prey in with her looks, changing her appearance to the most ideal form to make them fall for her, and invites the poor souls in. After a long night of getting to know each other, Meika kills her target and consumes their soul, leaving them to never reincarnate.

Meika has existed as long as anyone can remember. She lurks in a shrine hidden off the path of a busy road, waiting until the right person comes by for her to strike. Sometimes, they surrender their souls quietly, letting themselves be lulled into her spell and calmly absorbed; Other times they feel the life leaving them and attempt to flee Meika, but four legs are faster than two.She keeps herself well hidden and is sure to only pick off solo travelers. Meika isn't keen on a challenge, though sometimes a chase is fun. Working that hard for a dinner can be exhausting. If she's opened the pathway to her shrine for you, it's already too late.
